Account & Data Deletion

Last updated: 12 JULY 2026

This page explains how to delete your MilkuLedger data — both the data stored on your own device and any data associated with an optional Google Sign-In / Cloud Backup connection or Premium subscription. You can do this whether or not you currently have the App installed, per Google Play's Account and Data Deletion requirements.

Option 1 — Delete data from within the App (fastest)

On-device ledger data

  1. Open MilkuLedger → Settings
  2. Tap Data Management → Clear All Data
  3. Confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes all entries, payments, and your business profile stored on the device. This action cannot be undone.

Cloud Backup data (Google Drive)

  1. Open MilkuLedger → Settings → Cloud Backup
  2. Choose to delete your backup file, or disconnect your Google account from the App
  3. Alternatively, open the Google Drive app directly, find the MilkuLedger app-data folder, and delete the backup file yourself
  4. You can also revoke MilkuLedger's access entirely at myaccount.google.com/permissions

Premium subscription record

Cancelling your subscription (Google Play Store app → Subscriptions, or "Manage Subscription" inside the App) stops billing. To request deletion of the associated purchase-verification record from our backend, use Option 2 below.

Option 2 — Request deletion without the App installed

If you've uninstalled MilkuLedger, or want us to delete backend records directly, email us at:

milkuledger@gmail.com

Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

Please include: the email address you used with Google Sign-In (if you used Cloud Backup), and/or your Google Play order ID (if you subscribed to Premium), so we can locate and delete the correct record.

We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

Your purchase and payment history with Google Play itself is retained by Google according to Google's own policies and retention requirements — this is outside our control. You can review or manage this directly at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.
